Although racial diversity is seen as a positive point, many of us still misused the “race card” and more specifically, politicians in our country. It might hinder the nation’s chances in uniting one another. Politicians recognize that the race issue is frequently concern by the people of our country hence they use the concern to split the union of people in order to achieve their aims on political view and position. Therefore, due to the controversial issue, there exist racism in our country which is obstructive towards attaining a fair ethical image for the country.
Various advises have been suggested by many and examples of how some foreign country handle the racial issue is shown to help improve the racial issue that is on-going in our country. We should embrace diversity between one another and see it as a source of strength and unity. Our forebear has always believed this country could not survive without the different race group being able to live together to share the nation. It has been our country’s keynote and objective. Individual from disparate race should learn and acknowledge one another’s culture that through time had turn into their habits. For this reason, individual would be able to know the differences and uniqueness between one another hence be more concern and respectful towards the coexistence of different tradition and practice existing in our country.
Racial diversity had assisted us to become smarter, brighter, more innovative and creative. It would help lead us to the right path in obtaining a more united and tolerant country. Then we would be more compatible with countries that are multi-ethnic and be a better example in the eyes of the world. We Malaysians knows by it because we lived in it.
